World Shelters Hosts Volunteers to Prepare for Aid and Trade

World Shelters hosted over 30 volunteers on Friday, January 18th from the Humboldt State University Service Learning Center. These volunteers spent several hours helping World Shelters prepare for our first appearance at the International Aid and Trade Convention (www.aidandtrade.org/) in Geneva Switzerland next week.

Student leaders from campus assembled clip kits to be shipped for our Q-Shelters in times of disaster and made sample clips to promote World Shelters at the Aid and Trade event.

We’re always appreciative of the hard work and enthusiasm of our volunteers. If you are interested in a hands-on volunteer experience, World Shelters is currently welcoming volunteers for the following days this spring:

April 25th - 11-2

May 9th - 11-2

Let us know if you would like to join us. If you are interested in helping us develop our shelters with design and kit assembly, please contact Heather our Executive Assistant at: execasst@worldshelters.org.
